Feral Hog Abatement

Bounty: $10 per frozen tail turned in

Drop Off: AgriLife Extension Office 200 N Ave. G Ste 7 Johnson City, TX
Tails will be accepted on the first Tuesday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

How many tails can I turn in?: Bounty limited to 59 tails per person. Must be full tails.

Duration: January 1, 2026 to August 15, 2026

Tails must be frozen upon drop off. Hogs must be harvested in Blanco County and participants must be a resident of Blanco County. Participants are responsible for disposing of carcasses. Payment will be provided by the county and will not be available the same day of drop off.
