  • Pollinators play a vital role in crop production. Without pollinators, many crops will not reproduce. In this workshop, you’ll learn about flowers selection for sustainable supply of pollen and nectar for honeybees and other pollinators.

    • Out of the Gate: Protect Your Property from Fraud – practical tips to help seniors recognize and avoid scams
    • Racing for Respect: Supporting Our Veterans Beyond Words – information on resources and support for veterans and their families
    • Winner’s Circle Essentials: Secure Your Vital Records – guidance on organizing and protecting important personal documents
    • Crossing the Finish Line Prepared: Living with Burial Protection – This session will help participants understand the importance of burial and final-        expense planning
    In addition to educational sessions, participants can enjoy visiting vendors, engaging with speakers, and taking part in a little friendly fun with Lucky Horseshoe Bingo.

  • Adult program (18+) is a FREE, eight‐week online program designed to help Texans establish the habit of regular physical activity. Since 1996, thousands of Texans have participated in the Walk Across Texas! Adult program. The WAT program is an online, eight-week program designed to help Texans be more active using a team-based approach. Up to eight Team Members are encouraged to work together towards the goal of virtually traveling across Texas. Your favorite physical activities are logged as ‘miles walked’ and contribute toward your team’s mileage total.
